This was so a spectacular book to read! I was captured from the very beginning. There are so many twists, turns, and unexpected things that happen throughout this book. Deborah Raney delivers some of her best writing works yet. She brought the characters to life for me in this wonderful story. A story of faith, love, devotion and acceptance. The trials of everyday life marriage and raising a family. Dealing with unexpected things that seem to come from nowhere. Refreshing and Delightful! A Wish on Gardenia Street by: Shelley Shepard Gray An Amish Brides of Pinecraft Novella that is sure to delight. This was such a wonderfully refreshing story that will surely capture your heart as it did mine. The characters and the places are so well described in the story that I feel as if I was there with them. I could picture their Amish dresses and their flipflops. I was practically tasting the Key Lime Pie at Yoder’s. I so loved this story. I am looking forward to the next book in the The Pinecraft Brides series. Wonderful characters that I fell in love with. The description of the place was wonderful. I could visualize the lighthouse and feel the wind coming in off of the water it was so well described. Caroline has such determination, tension, heartache, pain, and love trying to make it on her own and raise her younger siblings.
